On September 1, 2025, we suffered a devastating house fire. I lost everything that I owned, including my 17 year old mini Aussie, Harriett. We escaped with my 2 male mini Aussies and the clothes on our backs. No shoes, no cash, no IDs, no debit or credit cards. Buddy’s Angels came to our aid quickly and without hesitation. They provided everything that my dogs were accustomed to, including their brand of food, leads and collars, big fluffy beds, toys, even the bone broth that they normally get. In addition to this, Michelle took both boys the day after the fire and boarded them so that we could take care of the many errands associated with losing your home. It also gave me time to grieve Harriett without the distraction of caring for the boys. The aid that was rendered by Buddy’s Angels in our traumatic time of need was invaluable, to say the least. I’ve included pictures of my boys, Sam and Leo, one of Harriett to honor her memory and a picture of the aftermath of the fire.
